Dr. Jay V. Doshi, MD, FHRS, FACC, FACP, CCDS is a board-certified Cardiologist specializing in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He grew up in the lower Hudson Valley, NY and obtained his BA in Computer Science from New York University. He thereafter attended New York University School of Medicine and graduated in 2007 with a Doctor in Medicine degree.
In 2010, Dr. Doshi completed his Internal Medicine training at NYU School of Medicine – North Shore University Hospital. From 2010-2013, he was a Cardiology Fellow at New York Medical College – Westchester Medical Center, where he also served as the Chief Fellow. In 2014, Dr. Doshi completed his Cardiac Electrophysiology training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center.
Upon completion of training, Dr. Doshi started a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology program at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow, NY and was the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at both Phelps and Northern Westchester Hospitals.
He has since founded VDO Cardiology, an independent practice working in association with Middletown Medical in Orange County, NY in providing cardiovascular and electrophysiology care. Dr. Doshi also serves as the Director of EP Services at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Doshi has held academic faculty appointments at Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and an Instructor of Medicine at New York Medical College. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, in addition to the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners in Cardiac Device Therapy.
Dr. Doshi is a member of several professional organizations including the Heart Rhythm Society, American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, American Heart Association and the American College of Physicians where he has served on the New York State leadership committee.
